Today, often called 'Information Age', computer technology continues to make dramatic progress and is being used in almost all relevant areas. In particular, development of computer programs in relation to architectural design enables architects to utilize a variety of digitalized design tools in their architectural design process. Moreover, the uses of such programs have become more and more differentiated and specialized.
Because the majority of architects still rely primarily on traditional tools in the process of their design works, despite the remarkable advances in the filed of digitalized design tools and media, discussions on new designs based on digitalized design media seems to go at a snail's pace.
This study draws major issues in digitalized design media out of investigations on background of their emergence and cases in practice. It also presents why progress in digitalized design media should necessarily be made by identifying the relativity of such issues to non-Euclidean system.
In addition, and finally, this study examines the works by such architects or architectural authors as actively using the digitalized design media to observe the possibility and prospect of them.
