The summit conference was held between South and North Korea in June.
Thus, Many plans of South-North’s development cooperation must be prepared.
And the South-North’s development cooperation in tourism sector, the plans which improves reciprocal understand and increases benefit in both countries should be carried out.
North Korea is hoping get more international aids and cooperations with facing serious difficulties in the domestic economies, but it is expected to be hard to induce foreign direct investments due to the lots of existing negative factors in the accessibility, profitability, marketability, and so on.
On the other hand, in South Korea, the demands of the places and facilities for the leisure & tourism have been skyrocketed with the fast social, economic change during the last three decades.
In order to contribute unification, practical strategies for the tourism development are needed.
And in this fast change of tourism situation, the Kyonggi Province prepare the desirable tourism plan for the new circumstances. These are include DMZ eco tourism, Panmunjeom area tour products & event and West sea cruise and so on.
