This paper investigates the selectivity of amendments of Korean anti-dumping laws which are needed to conform with WTO anti-dumping code in administering the provisions "like product", "review", and "anti-circumvent". It attempts to ascertain how strictly the Korean provisions could be interpreted for the implementation of anti-dumping duties in comparison with WTO anti-dumping code. Since anti-dumping laws are now the main route by which firms seek protection, it is necessary to determine the exact interpretative followed by policy makers in cases brought under these laws. Others have analysed the amendments Korean anti-dumping laws, but their analyses did not find the amendments in the provision of "like product", "review", "anti-circumvent" met this standard, but this study gives detailed directions on amendments about the above mentioned provisions.
