The purpose of this study is to examine how much living rehabilitation teachers at the nursing facilities for the disabled are burned-out and how much burnout risk and resilience to burnout is, and grasp direct and indirect routes among significant variables which have an effect on burnout, in order to provide essential practical information to prevent and manage burnout of living rehabilitation teachers at the nursing facilities for the disabled We surveyed 216 staffs sampled from 12 nursing facilities for the disabled. The result of the analysis on the level of living rehabilitation teacher’s burnout, burnout risk and resilience to burnout showed that living rehabilitation teachers at the nursing facilities for the disabled showed severely high level of burnout and showed high level of resilience to burnout and low level of burnout risk. First, living rehabilitation teacher’s burnout risk had an direct effect on their resilience to burnout and burnout. Second, burnout risk provided a negative effect to resilience to burnout. Third, burnout risk gave statistically significant direct influence on burnout, and it had an indirect effect on burnout. Finally, the result of verifying the mediation effect of resilience to burnout showed that resilience to burnout was a partial parameter between burnout risk and burnout. Based on the results, suggestions were made for preventing and coping with the burnout of living rehabilitation teachers at the nursing facilities for the disabled.
