This study is to investigate how the participation motives and flow experience affect the psychological happiness in participants of leisure sports. The research was performed in the way which 250 people based on convenience sampling method for people who had taken part in Daugu area. In 250 questionnaires, 224 were used in empirical analysis. Statistical techniques to analyze above data was processed by exploratory factor analysis, pearson correlation analysis, multiple regression, path analysis of SPSS 18.0. The results of this analysis summarized as follows. First, the health care in sub factors of the participation motives have an effect on fulfillment and life satisfaction and the friendship in sub factors of the participation motives have an effect on behavior commitment. Second, the health care in sub factors of the participation motives have an effect on cognitive commitment and behavior commitment and the friendship in sub factors of the participation motives have an effect on behavior commitment. Third, the cognitive commitment in sub factors of the flow experience have an effect on fulfillment and life satisfaction, the behavior commitment in sub factors of the flow experience have an effect on self-realization satisfaction and life satisfaction. Fourth, participation motives have a positive direct effect on psychological happiness and indirect effect psychological happiness though flow experience.
