Recently, a new “Output-Output(OO) model” and table were developed and compiled by Gim and Kim(2009) to solve the consecutive connection and overestimation problems together through the output requirements matrix for output C<SUP>g</SUP> derived from the Leontief inverse C<SUP>f</SUP>. On the basis of the hot issues and latest research findings in economic analysis, the specific objectives of this paper are summarized as follows. (1) We examine closely the usefulness and effectiveness of output-output multiplier analysis throgh the output-output circulation system based on the interdependent relationship between intermediate output(Bo) , total output(x), and final output(o). (2) We theoretically and empirically analyze a trade-off relationship between the income effects and the income multipliers through an empirical case study for the 2007 Output-Output Tables of Korea constructed by the author. (3) We derive an alternative economic policy in Korea to optimize a trade-off relationship between high income creation from direct and total income effects and high economic growth from income multipliers on the basis of the Output-Output model.
