This study aims to draw implications to develop the curriculum of physical education course and to apply to the field in Korea by examining the core curriculum of physical education course of German secondary schools. The literature study method was used for the study, and the results of study are as follows. The core curriculum of Germany was introduced aiming to practice the competence-based classes focusing on learners escaping the existing curriculum centering on teachers in the extension of German educational reformation. The core curriculum of course of physical education of Germany has focused on the development of inclusive behavior competence, and the areas of competence are made of the movement and perception competence, which is the center of physical education subject, and the method and judgment competence of the major`s own. The core curriculum of the course of physical education of Germany distinguishes the competence area from the contents area and integrates the competence area and the contets area into the competence expectations, and thereby realizes the connection between competence and knowledge. The core curriculum of Germany provides the implications including reformation of curriculum focusing on the field, connection between academic knowledge and practical knowledge, integration of core competence and special subject of physical education.
