The purpose of this study is to examine Competitive State Anxiety levels of rhythmic sportive gymnastics athletes with different backgrounds in their ages and experiences in order to enhance their performance. Eighty five subjects of rhythmic sportive gymnastics athletes, received CSAI-2 (Competitive State Anxiety Inventory-2, by Martens et el. 1983) which was to be responded within one-hour before entering games. Through one-way ANOVA & Scheffe´ method using SPSS Window version 7.52 program, a conclusion has been reached as follows : (1) Differences in ages among the subjects have no significant meaning on the levels of cognitive state amciety. (2) Differences in ages among the subjects have no significant meaning on the levels of somatic state anxiety. (3) Differences in ages among the subjects are significant: The subjects of university students shows the highest level of self-confidence and the age group of elementary school students rank 2nd highest. The age group of high school students rank 3rd highest, however the age group of middle school students, which is believed to be the most sensitive, shows the lowest level of self -confidence. (4) Differences in experiences among the subjects have a significant meaning: The less experience a subject has, the higher level of cognitive state anxiety she shows. (5) Differences in experiences among the subjects have a significant meaning: The less experience a subject has, the higher level of state anxiety she shows. (6) Differences in experience among the subjects are meaningfully significant: The subjects with experience of 8 years or more show the highest level of self-confidence and those with experience of 3 years or less shows 2nd highest level of self-confidence. The subjects with experience of 4∼7 years show the lowest level of self-confidence.
