The objective was to examine the possible correlation between adolescents" delinquency and crime experience caused by Drug-abuse and Psycho-sociological variables, and to analyze the difference in terms of the influence and relative effect based on the gender and school class in order to present theoretical data necessary for taking effective actions to prevent delinquency and crime and making decisions on related polices in connection with the drug-abuse. For that, the subjects of this study were 419 students(214 male students, 205 female students) who were surveyed through the structured questionnaires based on the theories of preceding studies related to drug-abuse juvenile delinquency, crime, etc., among the adolescents who were the students of 7 middle schools and high schools located at K-Metropolitan City and who had any experience with alcohol and cigarette. The collected questionnaires were processed through SPSSWIN 16.0, a statistical program to estimate the response frequency for each question, and the results were converted into percentage for frequency analysis, technical statistics, t-test, crosstabulation-analysis, multiple regression analysis, and correlation analysis. The results of analysis showed the followings: First, male students had greater experience than female students in terms of the experience with delinquency and crime related to drug-abuse based on the gender and school class and that a statistically significant difference was observed in middle school students and high school students when the related variables were analyzed relatively. Second, the variables associated with delinquency and crime caused related to adolescents" drug-abuse had a significant effect as high as approximately 38% on the experience with delinquency and crime induced by drug-abuse. Third, the stress, depression/anxiety, impulsiveness, self-respect, family support, and attachment to the school -- which were the variables associated with delinquency and crime related to drug-abuse -- were analyzed to determine the correlation. The results of the analysis showed significant correlation among the most variables that would affect the juvenile delinquency and crime related to adolescents" drug-abuse.
