Thermoelectric modules (TEM) have been integrated into many aspects of our lives. Depending on the current direction, a TEM is able to heat or cool a surface. Thermal analysis on the cooling performance of a vehicle cup-holder using a TEM was conducted in order to predict a beverage’s temperature. This analysis was followed experiments which verified this analysis. The performance test was conducted by measuring the change in inner wall temperature and change in beverage temperature over a 30 min. Results from this experiment showed agreement between the initial predicted temperatures and the actual tested beverage temperatures.
