This study has analyzed the changes of fatigue material comparatively after running training in high intensity between recovery method of fatigue for male modern pentathlon athletes and long distance runner in university. Subjects trained to running of high intensity(70~75%HRmmax as 30 min continuity training and 90~95%HRmax as 1 min 30 sec interval training were operated 5 time) are divided into 4 groups, which are sports massage groups(SM, n=6), cryotherapy groups(CM, n=6), the hot-water cure groups(HM, n=6) and resting groups(SM, n=6). The measurement of blood lactic acid, lactate dehydrogenase and ammonia was conducted at resting before the training, right after the training, after action of recovery method, recovery 10 min, recovery 20 min. Data from such recovery method and time sections were statistically processed through two-way ANOVA to know any differences among the groups and any changes among time sections, and were analyzed by using one-way ANOVA to evaluate the difference of within groups and between groups. For the posttest, Duncan-test was employed. The significance level for all statistical processes is .05. The result as follows ; 1) Blood lactic acid decreased within all groups, and SM, HM group decreased more than CM, RM group at right after method of recovery, 10min and 20min of recovery. 2) Lactate dehydrogenase decreased within all groups, and CM group decreased more than SM, HM and RM group at right after mothed of recovery, l0min and 20min of recovery. 3) Ammonia decreased within all groups, and SM, CM and HM group decreased more than RM group at right after mothed of recovery, 10min and 20min of recovery.
