The aim of this study is to analyze biomechanics variables according to level of skill in backhand receive of badminton smash to improve proper understanding and technology on action by providing basic resources to players and coaches. For this purpose, 5 badminton players at K. universitybadminton team (over 10 years experience) were set as a killed group and 5 Y. university badminton club members were set as an unskilled group(less than 2 years experience). The statistical process was taken using SPSS 18.0 program, and independent t-Test was carried out to verify statistical difference in time variable, velocity variable, anglevariable, angular velocity variable, ground reaction force variable. The significant level was set as a < .05. As for total elapsed time between the two group, the skilled group was faster in 0.11 sec. than the unskilled group, which was statistically significant(p <.05). As for COM velocity, it showed significant differences (p <.05) in all events. As for racket top anterior/posterior velocity, in the event 2, the unskilled group was faster in 5.39m/s in average than the skilled group, which was statistically significant(p <.05). In event 3, the average difference of speed was 5.97m/s, which was statistically significant(p <.05). As for shoulder joint angle, in event 2, the skilled group had higher angle with 7.42° than the unskilled group, which was statistically significant(p <.05). In Event 3, the skilled group hadhigher angle with 5.98° than the unskilled group, which was statistically significant(p <.05). As for the elbow joint angle, in event 2, the skilled group with 19.89° was improved than the unskilled group with 6.09°, which was statistically significant(p <.05). As for trunk angle, in event 2, the skilled group was average 9.03° and the unskilled group was average 5.2°, which was statistically significant(p <.05). As for elbow joint angular velocity, in event 1 and event, the skilled group had quicker angular velocity than the unskilled group for back swing. But in event 3, the skilled group had twice quicker than theunskilled group in average. Event 4 the skilled group had quicker than the unskilled group, which was statistically significant(p <.05). As for wrist joint angular velocity had no significant differences in two groups at all events. As for ground reaction force, anterior/posterior force and vertical force had significant differences in two groups at all events.
