The cloud services, which enable the users to easily share certain data and provide them with convenient compatibility with other systems, are not free from security risks such as personal information leakage and service interruption. In order for the cloud computing services to be widely and continuously used, the environment that safely protects user data must be the priority.
This study, thus, examined the continuous use of cloud services by assigning the cloud computing benefit variables like sharability and compatibility, and privacy risk variables including personal information stability and anxiety as independent variables, and setting performance expectation availability that the adoption of new AIT will improve the users" performance as parameter.
A survey was conducted on individual users who use cloud computing and the result was deduced by implementing the structural model analysis through PLS method (Smart PLS) based on the collected data. The sharability and compatibility of the cloud computing service users exhibit strong intention for continuous use through performance expectation availability, the privacy safety leads to continuous use through safe management of personal information and data being used, and the insecurity of personal information has negative effect on continuous use intention.
As various security threats can be complexly caused in the cloud computing environment through it, it is important to eliminate the risky variables that could threaten personal information and establish a reliable service environment, and necessary to establish security strategies that allow individual users to use the cloud services in a safe and harmless environment.
