This study was to investigate how college students understand the attitude and social factors related to food. From July 23<SUP>rd</SUP> to August 3<SUP>rd</SUP>, 2018, 164 college students in the Daejeon area were surveyed to obtain the information. According to the research, solutions of the social problems related to eating were affected by the social cognition of eating. As a result, the attitude of the problem-solving effort of college students with regards to eating habits, social recognition and problems is very important for the health of the people in the future society. Therefore, we should seek the solutions not only by individual student’s personal eating attitude, but also through school and society to raise the consciousness through educational programs and study on encouraging the practical eating cognition for animal welfare, food & social organization, environment pollution problems related to food.
