This The objective of this study is to define the effects of sports participants’ interpersonal orientation on their sports immersion and self-management behavior. To that end, 289 sports participants of sports clubs in the Seoul and Gyeonggi region were sampled. A questionnaire was used as the survey tool, and the data was analyzed as follows, using the statistical program SPSS 22.0 version. First, the higher the receptive orientation of the sports participants’ interpersonal orientation was, the lower their sports immersion was, and the higher their showy orientation was, the higher their sports immersion was. Second, the higher the competitive orientation of the sports participants was, the higher the training management of their self-management behavior and their interpersonal management were, and the higher their sociable orientation was, the lower their body management and their unique behavior management were and the higher their interpersonal management was. In addition, the higher the receptive orientation of their interpersonal orientation was, the lower their mentality management was and the higher their interpersonal management was, and the higher their showy orientation was, the higher their body management, training management, and unique behavior management, and mentality management were and the lower their interpersonal management was. Third, the higher the sports participants’ sports immersion was, the higher their body management, training management and unique behavior management were and the lower their interpersonal management was.
