Purpose: The purpose of this study was to examine the sexual permissiveness, sexual attitude and sexual identity of middle school boy students and the correlation of the three factors in them. Methods: Descriptive correlation research was conducted to determine the relationship among the sexual permissiveness, sexual attitude and sexual identity of middle school 260 boy students who attended middle school in Chungcheong province. Results: The degree of their sexual permissiveness had a very strong correlation to their sexual attitude in each stage(p=.000, p=.000, p=.000, p=.000). Their sexual-identity disposition was correlated to their sexual permissiveness. Specifically, androgyny had a higher correlation to sexual permissiveness(p=.041). Concerning connections between the type of sexual identity and the degree of sexual permissiveness, androgyny was correlated to light touch(p= .043) and tight contact(p=.037). Undifferentiated had a correlation to sexual relationship(p=.027). Conclusion: The findings of the study suggested that the middle school boy students took an open sexual attitude. Although they were highly permissive about sex, their sexual permissiveness wasn't strong enough to drive them into sexual relations. Such an androgynous sexual identity could be said as a positive phenomenon.
