역마이셀계에 존재하는 금 이온을 환원하여 형광을 발하는 금 나노클러스터를 합성하였다. 합성된 금 나노클러스터는 640 nm에서 밝은 형광을 보인다. 금 나노클러스터는 크기가 매우작으며 뛰어난 화학적 안정성 및 밝은 형광을 보임으로써, 센서, 전자소자, 바이오 이미징분야에 활용할 수 있다. 본 연구에서 제조한 금 나노클러스터는 광 다운 컨버전 형광물질로 활용하여 광전 소자에 응용이 가능할 것으로 기대된다.
