There is always a risk of injury in sports. With the recent development of the economy, there have been more opportunities to be exposed to risks, and safety issues to prevent accidents have emerged as a central task. However, intensive research on trauma is lacking in the oral & maxillofacial area associated with sports. It has only been partially introduced, with a comprehensive survey of whole-body trauma or mixed with various trauma in the oral & maxillofacial area.
In this paper, the overall content of trauma in the oral & maxillofacial area caused by sports activities will be reviewed for clinicians.
