The purpose of this study was to provide basic data to help improve athletic performance by comparing and analyzing the physical fitness factors of women’s national judo team and university athletes. A total of 28 athletes, 14 female university judo athletes and 14 national athletes ranked in the top 3 for each weight division, were selected as participants for this study, and their physical fitness factors were measured. Data were processed using the SPSS 22.0 program, the mean difference between the two groups was verified using independent t-test, and effect size was identified using Cohen"s d. The results of this study showed statistically significant differences in isokinetic muscular strength, muscular endurance, and agility, and the conclusions drawn are as follows. First, isokinetic muscular strength is essential when using foot and hand techniques, and due to the characteristics of female athletes who mainly use foot techniques, the national athletes scored high on the right knee flexor muscles of lower extremity isokinetic strength. Second, muscular endurance that exerts power and helps persist in a judo match is a physical fitness factor that determines the result of a match, and the muscular endurance of the national athletes was higher than that of the university athletes. Third, although aerobic capacity between the two groups showed no statistically significant difference, the effect size identified using Cohen’s d showed that the national athletes’ aerobic capacity was higher than that of the university athletes. Fourth, due to the nature of judo that requires the use of techniques at close distances, agility is highly required in applying techniques, and the national athletes’ agility was higher than that of the university athletes. Finally, anaerobic power showed no significant difference, but the anaerobic power of the university athletes was improved to a high level.
