Purpose
In recent years, with the increase of the elderly population, among liver cancer patients, elderly patients who require surgery are also increasing. However, the suitability of hepatic resection for older patients remains controversial. Therefore, the purpose of this study is to investigate whether age affects overall survival through analysis of the surgical results of elderly HCC patients.
Method
We identified 30 elderly patients (≥70) with HCC treated with hepatic resection alone from in our hospital From March, 2016 to March, 2020. We have investigated of the clinicopathologic data and overall survival rate from the time of hepatic resection.
Result
The median age was 74 (70-86) -year-old. The median Child-Pugh score was A5(5-7), median tumor size 3.76cm (1-12), ... 전체 초록 보기
