The prostate-specific antigen (PSA) level in the blood is an essential hallmark of prostate cancer, but its false-positive results often cause overdiagnosis, leading to unnecessary tissue biopsy. Although urinary exosomal microRNAs have recently emerged as potential biomarkers, clinical applications are still limited due to their low concentration and small volumes of clinical samples.
