In celebration of the 100th anniversary of fisheries research, we would like to introduce the current research projects of the fisheries resources assessment field of the NIFS (National Institute of Fisheries Science), and present future research directions. The results of the stock assessment are being used as scientific basis for the establishment of the fishery resource management policy of the MOF (Ministry of Oceans and Fisheries).
