The purpose of In this study, 20 soccer club students were selected from a M University in Gyeonggi province to participate in VIPR (Vitality, Performance, Re-conditioning) compound training across 8 consecutive weeks. 10 participants were randomly allocated to the experimental group and 10 participants were randomly allocated to the control group. The aim of this study was to investigate and proved a more effective training method for athletes by exploring their changes in technical and functional abilities through functional motion tests. This included examining participants’ maximum strength, endurance, flexibility, agility, power and athletic equilibrium. Both the control and experimental group were subjected to an exercise program that they were required to complete twice a week, 50 minutes each session. Each exercise session included front lunges with upper cuts, lunge to single leg balance, push ups, front squats with shoulder press, ice skaters, side lunges and single leg reaches. For the experimental group, aspects from VIPR compound training were further added to each session including lat pull downs, front raises, deadlifts, lateral raises, barbell rows and bent over lateral raises. In conclusion, considering the sport characteristics of soccer, we perform the training for each compatible position, It is considered that it is better to perform the complex training that combined the viper training to improve dynamic strength and technical fitness needed during the game.
