As for conducting this study about the subjective health and physical fitness of regional elderly, I research 42 mans and 54 woman in Gyeongbuk K-sity area. With a result, firstly old-man thinks that they are very heathy, healthier than old-woman and also 72.1% of old-man think they have normal strength condition, but 61.8% of old-woman think like that. The other side, old-woman of 60% feel their a hygienic condition is not enough good. Secondly old-man shows the higher level (32.38/㎏) than old-woman (18.94/㎏) in the grasping power, testing item for muscular strength and also old-man(10.65/time) is more than old-woman(3.05/time) in body-up as well as the walking ability test old-man(M=590.98m), old-woman(M=555.16/m), But in the obstacle test and the flexibility test, the different result is appeared, which is that old-woman is higher than old-man(M=8.88/sec), old woman(M=8.13/sec) and more flexible old-woman(M=41.18/㎝), old-man(M=34.95/㎝). Thirdly the subjective strength and the result of strength examination for each level of physical condition is that the subjective strength examination of old man is the level p<.05 in one-leg standing. with eyes opened and the level p<.01 in 6 minutes walking and same result in post-test. However, the subjective strength examination of old woman shows a little difference, which is the level p<.01 in grasping power, in bending their knee with sitting down. Also it shows the level p<.05 in 10m obstacle walking and p<.001 in 6 minute walking. The post-test show up a similar result in 5 examination except one-leg standing with opened eyes and body-up. Besides a result of subjective strength examination for old-man does not show up a distinguished difference and neither in a post-examination. A result of subjective strength examination for old-woman show up the difference level p<.05 in grasping power. But there is not any difference in post-examination.
