This study examines the cold environment of the target site through CFD simulation at a specific time when the lowest temperature appears during the cold wave warning period in consideration of the reality of low-rise residential areas. This is to suggest implications for effectively responding to cold environments by extracting The temperature showed a tendency to increase as it went inside the site, and when the wind speed was constant, there was a difference depending on the density of buildings and the proximity to green areas. When the wind is not parallel to the main wind direction, the speed tends to decrease compared to the side-by-side alleyways. As a result of calculating the perceived temperature based on the above results, the entire alley was found to be at the highest level of sensible temperature, which is a dangerous level, and the average felt temperature was in the order of level C>level A>level B. In this study, through simulation, the characteristics of wind and temperature distribution of low-rise dwellings during the cold period were identified, and the reality of the thermal environment of low-rise dwellings in hilly terrain was specifically identified. Based on this, the sensible temperature was derived and implications were derived by considering the distribution characteristics.
