Objective: The purpose of this study is to investigate Purpose Built Vehicles(PBVs) in future smart cities, elicit opinions(expectations, concerns) about self-driving vehicles from logistics-related workers based on qualitative data, and analyze user needs in the design. Background: As social interest in autonomous vehicles increases, expectations for the application of autonomous driving in future logistics systems are rising. Last Delivery, the final stage of logistics, requires boarding of related workers and final delivery work even when the logistics system is automated. Smart cities, where automated processes will be introduced, are expected to bring about future systems that reduce the physical load or unnecessary behavior of delivery tasks, and need to be reflected in future self-driving environments. Method: A Focus Group Interview(FGI) was conducted on 12 logistics staff on future self-driving logistics vehicles, and a total of 6 subjects were conducted. The study was divided into 2 groups of 3, and each group was introduced to the concept of autonomous vehicles and interviewed on their expectations as well as concerns regarding autonomous logistics vehicles in their tasks. A maximum of 5 minutes was allocated per person so that all participants could express their opinions.
