The purpose of this study is to determine the impact of subjective perception and learning attitude on water safety awareness regarding survival swimming re-education in elementary schools. To achieve the purpose of the study, convenience sampling was used to directly teach survival swimming to 164 students attending elementary schools in G Metropolitan City and J Province and conduct a survey. Among the collected questionnaires, 160 (97.6%) were used for analysis as final data, excluding 4 that were not suitable for statistical data. The contents of the questionnaire used scales whose validity and reliability were recognized in previous studies, modified and supplemented for this study. To confirm the reliability of the scale, the internal consistency of the items was verified. Data processing was performed using SPSS 18.0 ver. Frequency analysis, reliability analysis, descriptive statistical analysis, correlation analysis, and multiple regression analysis were analyzed using the for Window program. Based on the results of this study, in order to increase the level of water safety awareness of elementary school students through survival swimming re-education, it is necessary to develop a program that suits the actual situation, and educational and research institutions in charge of survival swimming identify problems with survival swimming re-education. It is judged that there is a need to distribute the revised and supplemented program to school sites.
