This study was conducted to analyze the characteristics of students enrolled in the healing agriculture at ○○ college, located in Jeonju, Jeonbuk State, from the perspective of wellness tourism entrepreneurship. The age distribution showed that among freshman and sophomore, those in their 50s accounted for the largest proportions at 40.48% and 47.37%, respectively, while among junior, those in their 60s were the most prevalent at 42.86%. Female students constituted a high proportion of enrollment, representing 69.05% of freshman, 78.95% of sophomore, and 71.43% of junior. Regarding occupations, excluding other categories, the combined proportion of those engaged in agriculture and healing farms was the highest: 23.81% for freshman, 26.31% for sophomore, and 64.29% for junior. In terms of residence, an overwhelming majority of students resided in Jeonbuk State, accounting for 92.85% of freshman, 94.73% of sophomore, and 92.85% of junior. The proportion of students who had completed more than 101 hours of agricultural education prior to enrollment was 23.81% for freshman, 23.68% for sophomore, and 57.14% for junior. Among qualifications held by students, agricultural certifications were the most common, with 50.0% of students possessing them. These characteristics are deemed useful for establishing healing farms aimed at wellness tourists. However, in terms of healing farm density, the need for tailored education that considers the recruitment of students from regions outside of Jeonbuk State and their career paths after graduation was also highlighted.
