Purpose: This study was to examine the effects of nursing professionalism, caring efficacy, and ethical sensitivity on caring behaviors in nursing students. Methods: The subjects of this study were total 205 nursing students in universities located in D city. Data were collected from Sep. 2 to 30 in 2019 by using self-reported questionnaires. The data were analyzed by using statistical package the independent t-test, one-way ANOVA, Pearson’s correlation coefficients, and stepwise multiple regression analysis with IBM SPSS 25.0 program. Results: The influencing factors on caring behaviors in nursing students were ethical sensitivity (β=.44 p<.001), nursing professionalism (β=.18, p=.005), grade (β=.18, p=.006), and caring efficacy (β=.16 p=.006) which explained 31.1% of the variance. Conclusion: These results highlight the importance of developing caring behaviors in nursing students and the need to develop intervention programs that can enhance their nursing professionalism, caring efficacy, and ethical sensitivity should be considered.
