The purpose of this study is to investigate the effects of dance sports and muscular strength circuit exercise on body image and life satisfaction in the middle aged women. The subjects of this study were total 110 persons(exercise group: 55 persons, control group: 55 persons), who are residents in S city. Subjects in exercise group performed their assigned exercise 40~50m/day, 3d/w(dance sports) for 12weeks. The method of this study is using questionnaires of body image and life satisfaction scale. Data obtained at pre and post test were compared between two groups test utilizing two-way ANOVA with repeated measures. The results of this present study were as follows: In body image factors, exercise group had significant difference between pre and post 12weeks dance sports and muscular strength circuit exercise program, but control group had no significant difference. In life satisfaction factors, exercise group had significant difference between pre and post 12weeks dance sports muscular strength circuit exercise program, but control group had no significant difference. In relationship between body image and life satisfaction, showed that weight factors(r²=0321), health factors(r²=0616), body factors(r²=0373) and life satisfaction. It was concluded that middle aged women were improved by dance sports and muscular strength circuit exercise training of CHACHACHA, JIVE and RUMBA was more effective for enhancing daily living fitness.
