The purpose of this study is to analyze golfer’s personality trait between blood types(A, B, O, AB). So Research We used Q-methodology that is one of the Qualitative research methodology.
Q-statements were sampled from the Q-concourse, a 40 Q-statements were sorted by 16 people called P-samples or P-sorters each of blood types. The first results are follows. First, personality trait of 7 Q-statements are ‘solve the problem’ or ‘analyze swing themselves for making miss shot Second, the common meaning of 7 Q-statements are ‘blame oneself’ , ‘console oneself’.
Second result is personality trait of each of blood type. Blood type A is ‘meticulous’, ‘analytic’. Typical statement is “we can examine ourselves meticulous for our swing mechanism” Blood type B is ‘emotional’ , ‘switched’. Typical statement is “Darn it what’s wrong with me today? why not? “. Blood type O is ‘positive’, ‘comfort oneself’. Typical statement is “this might be that it” , “ I will get onto it”. Blood type AB is ‘challenging’, ‘analytic’. Typical statement is “Still have a long way to go”, “ Have a try harder”.
In conclusion, personality trait be of serve for our life. because of convenient and efficient to understand each other. Moreover golfer’s personality trait is useful for golf teaching.
