This study verifies former studies on the impact of self-leadership, organizational citizenship behavior, and job performance of hotel employees, then investigates mediation effect of organizational citizenship behavior as a factor between their self-leadership and job performance. This survey was conducted with 5 Stars hotels in the Jeju area, and data were collected. Correlation analysis, multiple regression analysis and stepwise regression analysis were used for analyzing the data and result of survey. The results of hypothesis testing are as follows. First, it was founded that the employees’ self-leadership had a significant impact on their organizational citizenship behavior. Second, their self-leadership had a significant impact on their job performance. Third, their organizational citizenship behavior had a significant impact on their job performance. Fourth, their organizational citizenship behavior had a mediation effect between their self-leadership and job performance. Self-leadership is an essential variable for job performance. But according to the result of this study that their job performance can be improved only by promoting their organizational citizenship behavior, more implications could be provided from a practical aspect.
