The purpose of this study was to analyze learner clusters based on online behavior patterns in university e-learning and investigate learning achievement prediction models. For this purpose, the online behavioral data of 377 college students who registered for a management statistics in both the spring and fall semesters of 2014 were extracted from a Learning Management System(LMS). After that, online behavioral data were converted into nine research variables related to online behavior and these variables were used in cluster analysis for understanding learner characteristics of each group. For the next step, stepwise regression was performed to compare prediction power and explanation ratio by cluster. The results showed that three clusters had different prediction models, implying that instructors should consider each cluster"s different characteristics and provide customized feedback for enhancing learning experiences.
