The purpose of this study was to clarify the effects of overseas tourists`` perceived crowding at airplane and airport on emotional responses and satisfaction & dissatisfaction and then provide suggestions for development and management of airplane or airport company. For this purpose, data were collected from questionnaire surveys of 354 overseas tourists at the In-cheon international airport who boarded in a airplane 11st to 13rd in October 2012. The findings of this study are summarized as follows. First, tourists`` perceived crowding at airplane or airport has positive effects on positive emotion and satisfaction. And dissatisfaction has negative effects. This result is accord with previous literature reviews. Second, spatial perceived crowding at airplane or airport has negative effects on positive emotion and satisfaction. Third, spatial perceived crowding at airplane or airport has negative effects on satisfaction and dissatisfaction. This may be meant that both can be existed at a time. Fourth, overseas tourits’positive emotion influence satisfaction and negative emotion influence dissatisfaction. Based on the findings, I want to suggest that airline or airport company should find the way “How to make our passengers & customers more intimate or to serve them friendly”. Also, They should relocate or remove some facilities to reduce the spatial crowding. These efforts can affect the tourists’satisfaction.
