The purpose of this study was to validate the mediating effect relationship between academic self-efficacy and self-directed learning through learning flow of students who participated in outdoor sports. For the purpose of this study, participants(N=270) were administered questionnaires to assess their perceptions of were participated in outdoor sports. Structural equation modeling through using the SPSS 20.0 and AMOS 21.0 were performed to identify the relations among the factors. The result of the study was as follows. first, the students’s academic self-efficacy significantly influenced on the learning flow. Second, the students’s learning flow significantly effected on the self-directed learning. Third, the students’s self-directed learning significantly impacted on the academic self-efficacy. Fourth, the result of verification on the mediating effect relationship between the students’s academic self-efficacy, self-directed learning and learning flow, it is indicated that academic self-efficacy directly influenced on the self-directed learning. Also, it showed that statistically explained for self-directed learning by mediating effect at the same time.
