We introduce BAB79: an interactive food tray for making a healthy meal habit for children. It guides the proper meal order using light that is color-mapping with game items and increases concentration during mealtime using game contents. The results of two in-field observation showed possibilities of using BAB79. The participant had successfully finished his meal following proper meal order and having concentration without wasting time. We also found that BAB79 provided the high satisfaction of parent during mealtime of their child and made proper nutrition of child through parent’s interview. Through its result of the user study (2 observation and interview), BAB79 can provide a new way of improving children’s meal habit through its interesting interactions.
