이 연구는 2014년 배드민턴 국가대표 상비군(후보)에 속해있는 남자(단식 19, 복식13), 여자(단식 15, 복식 16명)선수 총 53명을 대상으로 성별과 경기형태에 따른 근력(배근력과 악력), 근지구력(하프스쿼트 점프), 민첩성(사이드스텝), 심폐지구력(폐활량, 1초 강제 호기량, 20m 셔틀런), 유연성(좌전굴)의 차이를 관찰하는데 목적이 있다. 통계처리를 위해 각 체력항목별 단식선수와 복식 선수 간 독립 t-test를 이용하였으며 다음과 같은 결론을 얻었다. 근력의 경우, 남자선수들은 우측 악력에서 복식 선수들이 단식 선수보다 우수하였으나 여자선수들은 차이가 없었다. 근지구력은 남자 단식선수가 남자복식선수들보다 우수하였다. 여자선수들은 경기형태에 따라 차이가 없었다. 민첩성은 경우, 남녀별경기형태(단식, 복식)에 따른 유의한 차이가 없었다. 심폐지구력의 경우, 폐활량(FVC)과 1초 강제호기용적(FEV1)비율(%)에서 남녀별 경기형태(단식, 복식)에 따른 유의한 차이가 없었다. 20m 셔틀런의 경우, 남자 단식 선수들이 남자복식 선수들 보다 우수하였다. 여자선수들은 경기형태에 따라 차이가 없었다. 유연성의 경우, 유연성 요인인 좌전굴에서는 여자 복식선수들이 여자 단식선수들보다 우수하였고 남자 선수들은 경기형태별 차이가 없었다. 결론적으로 배드민턴 국가대표 상비군 선수들의 성별 경기형태에 따른 체력차이 비교에서는 남자선수의 경우, 근력과 근지구력, 심폐지구력에서, 여자선수들의 경우는 유연성에서만 차이가 있었다.
The purpose of this study was to examine the differences of fitness levels between single and double national badminton player candidate in 2014. Men players (single: n=19, double: n=13) and women players (single: n=15, double: n=16) participated in strength (back strength, hand-grip strength), muscle endurance( half-squirt jump, side-step), cardio-pulmonary (FEV1, FVC, 20m shuttle run test and flexibility test) to compare between single and double player. Data were analysed of independent t-test with mean value between single and double player. The results were as follows, 1. Men Single player have significantly higher strength in right hand-grip then double player and there is not strength differences between single and double players in women. 2. Endurance capacity with men single player was higher compared to double player and there was no significant differences in women player 3. In agility test, there were no signifiant differences between single and double in men and women player. 4. In lung capacity and FEV1 (cardiopulmonary), there were no significant differences between single and double in men and women player, however we did find significant differences in 20m shuttle run between men single and double player. 5. We did not find any significant differences in the flexibility by men. However, flexibility was significant higher in women double player then single player. As the final outcome, elite badminton players have different performance between single and double player. Men` single badminton player have higher cardiovascular endurance and muscular endurance than men` double player, while muscular strength was significantly higher than men`s single player. Women`s double badminton player have higher flexibility than women`s single player. As a result, we recommend that cardiovascular endurance and muscular endurance training program is focused for men`s double player and muscular strength training program for men`s single players.
