Commercial Historical Contents are believed to have a negative impact on students. But Historical Contents covering historical facts are very interesting resource for students. Historical Contents don't force students to accept history unconditionally, but it makes it possible for them to discuss history. And the most representative example of the Historical Contents is historical movies. In this paper, we developed a process of lesson models and a historical question that allowed us to think historically by exploring historical movies. In addition, we applied two historical movies about Korean War, 'A Little Pond(2009)' and 'The Front Line(2011)' to design and conduct actual classes, and we analyzed some writings written by students. As a result, we found students did not see historical movies as mere interest, and they did not make emotional or groundless remarks while talking about their arguments to a given question. They presented their own rationale and assessment criteria. This, of course, is different from their response being legitimate or agreeing with their arguments. This shows that they have historically thought through each stage of the class, not unconditionally accepting the contents of historical movies. Historical movies could be used much more effectively when they are presented with additional materials supporting the events of the movie and some inquiries that lead to historical thinking, and when they are used with systematic teaching procedures. Besides using historical movies, making efforts to study various Historical Contents and use them in the class should be accompanied.
