This study has groped course to moving forward of school physical educationㆍsports in historic and educational standpoints, analyzing merits and demerits of physical educationㆍsports policy. The discussional results related to this can be arranged as follows. School physical education not only have to increase students’ health but develop abilities to take part in and enjoy various sports continually in daily lives. The direction of policy in physical educationㆍsports needs the change of cognition of teachers and authorities that raise balanced talents and can accomplish original roles in physical educationㆍsports in educational position. Also student players have to establish the culture of school athletic club to enjoy the sports in healthy environment. Therefore, we strongly need the policy of physical educationㆍsports to promote general quality of life rather than partial quality of life in our society. It must continually improve, complement and broaden project for school work’s going abreast of student players including weekend league system of school sports and ensured system for the right to learn. At the same time, it must promote advanced projects through eradication of violence at school and introduction of scientific training techniques in school athletic club. An elite sports must not only enhance the national prestige through winning the medals but also have people participate in cultural activities in physical educationㆍsports easily.
