The primary purpose of this study is to investigate fishery resources atat adjacent seas of jeju island. The survey was executed 4 times on the Chonnam National University training ship ‘SAE DONG BAEK’ from 28 to 30 in July 2023. In each survey, fishes species number of individual 151 and 75 were caught in the first and second rounds in northeast Jeju and 33 and 36 were caught in the third and fourth rounds in southwest Jeju, respectively. total fishes species number of individuals were 295 fishes. and total weight caught was about 104.95Kg. Of the total catch, 79 Dentex tumifrons (26.8%) were caught the most, followed by 68 (23.1%) Stephanolepis cirrhifer and 35 (11.9%) Lophionus setigerus The total number of fish caught was 24 species. The total number of body length was 85 (28.81%) in the 251-300mm range, followed by 59 (20%) in the 301-350mm range, and 55 (18.64%) in the 201-250mm range, showing 67.45% of catches based on total catches. The total weight survey showed that the range of 1-100g was the highest at 41.02%, with a range of 15.3% from 401 to 500g, indicating that catches over 501-600g were also caught in a wide range of weights at 7.46%. Based on the total catch, the catch in the eastern waters of Jeju Island was high at 76.6%, and the catch in the southwest waters was relatively low at 23.4%. therefore, it is thought that the difference in catch shows the difference in the spawning and wintering grounds of fish by sea according to the depth of water.
