This study aims to present specific strategies for promoting youth employment through job creation in the sports industry, focusing on private sector, public sector, and competency enhancement approaches. The research follows a four-step methodology, including a literature review, interviews, focus group discussions and content validity analysis, to identify key factors influencing job creation across these three areas. In the private sector, eight key strategies were identified: implementing long-term retention support programs for new employees at small and medium-sized sports companies, strengthening partnerships with local sports enterprises, relaxing regulations related to sports services, creating jobs through the promotion of sports tourism, launching international youth employment programs linked to the global sports industry, establishing sports entrepreneurship support centers, providing tax incentives for sports companies and promoting job creation through the privatization of public sports facilities. For the public sector, four strategies were highlighted: expanding the placement of community sports instructors in local sports councils and improving their compensation, increasing the recruitment of coordinators to support school sports clubs, enhancing the roles and job security of elementary school sports instructors, and expanding the operation of national fitness certification centers. Finally, four key competency enhancement strategies were identified: implementing tailored job training programs for the sports industry, expanding youth internship and field training programs, developing sports industry mentoring and networking programs, and creating interdisciplinary curricula for university sports-related departments.
