With the trend of the 4th industrial revolution, there has been an effort to increase competitiveness in agriculture through the development of smart farms using ICT. In the field of agriculture, in which farmers have historically relied on the knowledge they accumulate through experience to gain a competitive edge, an intelligent system that analyzes various cultivation environments using various sensors and uses the results of this analysis to control the optimal cultivation environment has been introduced, enabling an environment where crops can grow via the network without timespace-related limitations. This paper proposes a method to implement a farm simulator based on an existing cloud-based smart farm. By using the environmental and control data accumulated in the cloud to develop a predictive model for environmental variables and also using real-time environmental dataa smart farm in operation, more realistic simulation is possible, which can induce users’ immersion. Departinga simple simulation, it is possible to learn a specific farmer’s smart farm operation data through the learning mode and a sense of achievement through competition can be obtained in the operation mode through comparison with the operation results of an actual smart farm. By accumulating experience in this manner, it will be possible to build a business model that can provide users an actual experience of growing crops in a smart farm to those users who are interested.
