In this study, we seek to empirically investigate the impact of the characteristics of food live commerce on value, satisfaction, and purchase intention.In this study, the sampling method was convenience sampling, and a survey was conducted targeting consumers in Daegu and Gyeongsan who had experience purchasing care foods. A summary of the research results is as follows.
First, the structural dimensions of food live commerce characteristics were extracted into four factors, and were named ‘shopping convenience’, ‘real-time interactivity’, ‘playfulness’, and ‘influencer awareness’ according to the characteristics of each item. Second, among the four characteristics of food live commerce, real-time interactivity was found to have the greatest impact on value, followed by influencer recognition (t=4.800), shopping convenience, Playfulness was found to have a positive effect on value. All four factors appeared to have a positive effect on value, so Hypothesis 1 was accepted.
And among the four factors of food live commerce characteristics, influencer awareness was found to have the greatest impact on satisfaction, followed by playfulness, shopping convenience, and interactivity was found to have a positive effect on satisfaction. All four factors appeared to have a positive effect on satisfaction, so Hypothesis 2 was accepted. Third, the value of food live commerce was found to have a positive effect on satisfaction and purchase intention, and satisfaction with live commerce was also shown to have a positive effect on purchase intention.
