After the lumbar stabilization exercise program was applied to senior male golfers for their health promotion and performance enhancement for 12 weeks, this research examined the effects of the application of this program on their flexibility, balance ability, and golf skills, and the following results were obtained. First, the lumbar stabilization exercise was found to have positive effects, making a significant difference in senior male golfers` balance ability(walking 2.45m back and forth, stretching out arms forward and one leg standing test). Second, the lumber stabilization exercise was found to have positive effects, making a significant difference in senior male golfers` flexibility (sitting trunk flexion, trunk turning left, and trunk turning right). Third, the lumbar stabilization exercise was found to have positive effects, making a significant difference in senior male golfers` skills (ball speed, smashing coefficient, face angle, and driving distance). Putting together these results, the conclusion was obtained that the lumbar stabilization exercise program can be included in the effective exercise programs to improve senior male golfers` balance ability, flexibility, and golf skills.
